Sure! How hard can it be?
Designer. Writer. Editor.
I am a fledgling UX designer, as well as a skilled technical writer, copy writer, editor, and content manager, and I'm transforming a career of using my words into one of building better user experiences. I quickly grasp complex information and ideas, then convert them into designs and copy that are clear, concise, and compelling.
I'm fluent in British, American, and Canadian, and adept at translating Geek into English. I will happily disrupt your digital, explain your process, and design your experience in everything from Start-up to Enterprise.
My degrees include a Bachelor of Music in Classical Vocal Performance with an emphasis on Early Music from Cornish College of the Arts, and both a Bachelor of Arts in History and Graduate Certificate in User Centered Design from the University of Washington.
I am a native of Seattle, and grew up in the rich musical tradition the city offers. An active consort and ensemble singer, I've performed in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and in Italy under renowned directors Peter Phillips, Margriet Tindemans, and Stephen Stubbs, and been coached by acclaimed sopranos Nancy Zylstra, Janet Coxwell and Deborah Roberts. You can find me on recordings as a member of Vox16, The Esoterics, Medieval Women’s Choir, the Cathedral Choir of St. James, and Women of St. James Schola.
In my free time, I'm also an active Historic Re-enactor where I work on calligraphy, illumination, cooking, costuming, music, and all-around research of 16th century Italy and England. And I knit, rather a lot.
